Every third day someone comes to look after the red haired girl. But she doesn’t want to go outside. She’s ashamed for what she had done. She’s scared of the world outside. So she lays in bed all day and tries to sleep, infact there are nightmares. But no nightmare could ever reach her life, right now.
"You play piano?", Gale asks while he sits down in front of it.
"A bit.", Madge whispers grinning and begin to play the melody her heart plays when she’s with him.
In this moment the red haired girl realizes that there’s no way to win these games. She never could have won, but even she doesn’t want to be killed by one of the others. So how to get out of this cage called life?
There’s an answer, lying innocent in her hands. Slowly she raises her hand with the tiny purpel berrys to her mouth. And takes a taste of death.
"Imagine, she never were there. She were still alive. And we could live together, forever. I miss her. I miss her smile, her laugh, how she cared about anyone else. I just miss her. I would do everything to see her again, you know? I would even fed Buttercup the rest of my life.", Rory whispers.
I want to get out.
Glimmer stares at the roads to the fence of District 1, dreaming of a life without rules, pride and something that’s called a serious life. In that moment all the fame and money is nothing to her. In that moment she just wants to feel free.
Awr, no problem! :) I think you really write good. :)
All alone the dark haired girl from District 2 lay on her bed. Clove pretend to be strong, that the arena was just a little thing. But no one knows, that even today nightmares seem to hunt her.
It’s almost dark while Rory and Prim running through the streets, playing with the snow. That’s it, what kids can do. Just enjoy life, no matter what.
"What are you doing there?", her mother asked shocked.
"Smoking weed. It’s funny, you should taste. Now we got enough money for that.", Luanna answers and takes a deep breathe. Looking at the wide world of District 6, she whispers: "Just today, just that once."
To keep the nightmares away.
